The Bristol SF Group has been running in one form or another since the sixties and has a rich history of contribution towards the UK SF, Fantasy, Gaming and Comics scene. Current and former members include professional writers, artists, scientists and event organisers.
We meet up to drink and talk toot at the Hillgrove Porter Stores (see map) in Kingsdown on the first and third Thursdays of the month from around eight-eight thirty pm and organise outings and other special events at various points throughout the year.

The Bristol Science Fiction (and Fantasy) Group has always put an emphasis on inclusion, and widening participation in fandom. With that in mind we try to focus on continuity - our meeting schedule is the same month to month, year to year - and keeping things free. We have no membership fees, nor any plan to introduce them, and restrict ourselves to activities that can be funded from voluntary contributions.
